Company
History
Founded in New Castle,
Indiana, Data Art Company, Inc. was incorporated in April 1999
and moved into its first location at The Landing (South Memorial Drive)
that July. In the spring of 2003 the business moved to its final location
at 47 Midway Drive. Throughout its five-year run, the company remain locally
owned and operated, and was a proud member of the
New Castle - Henry County Chamber
of Commerce.
In November 1999,
Data Art launched EZ-Look.com®
-- an online website directory and information guide for Henry County.
Due to the immediate success of EZ-Look, the company became known as
EZ-Look Websites & Advertising in 2000.
EZ-Look no longer provides services to
clients. However, the EZ-Look Community Website for Henry County,
Indiana is alive and well, with plans for future expansion.
Past Clients
At the height the company's success,
EZ-Look designed and maintained the websites of several Henry County businesses
and organizations, including:
Anderson Lock & Security, Classic
Quilting Studio, Crawford Coatings, Country Trails Western Store, Henry
County Builders Association, Henry County Convention & Visitors Bureau,
Henry County Stride & Ride, Henry County Postcards, Indiana Basketball
Hall of Fame, L & L Plastics, Maintenance Repair Service, Mayberry In
The Midwest, Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church, New Castle Henry County Chamber
of Commerce, New Castle Henry County Economic Development Corporation,
New Castle Noon Optimists, Perdue Refrigeration, Pro Green Inc., Properties
Unlimited, Raintree Home Inspection, R.E. Construction & Maintenance Services,
Smith's Jewelers, Steve Alford All-American Inn, Walnut Ridge Family RV
Sales, and White's Welding & Machining.
Many of these websites still retain
the original EZ-Look graphic design and site structure. Unfortunately,
maintaining so many sites (and not having enough capital to expand or
hire employees) was difficult for one person to do, so formal website
design operations ended in early 2004. The EZ-Look.com community website
remains, and is updated frequently. The message board has grown particularly
popular, and plans to expand EZ-Look.com are
in the works.
"I wish to thank
the many clients who believed in me and made owning a business a worthwhile
experience -- it was a unique opportunity, and one for which I'm extremely
grateful. Many thanks to everyone for their patience and understanding,
and for your friendship." -- James Thurston
